Chip Timing
The Walter Payton 16,726 Yard Run will use ChampionChip to time runners this year. Chips must be picked up on the day of the Run. Runners must use the chip assigned to them in order to get an official time. Timing begins at the gun shot start and stops when the runner crosses the timing pad at the finish line. Volunteers will be at the finish line to help direct runners based on their course.
Commemorative Shirts
Thanks to students from Andrew High School in Tinley Park, the Walter Payton 16,726 Yard Run will be offering commemorative shirts for a limited time prior to the Run. More details to follow.
Courses
There are three different events using two different courses. Both courses are USATF sanctioned #IL-07007-JW.
